Andres Toome, board member of Sunbeam, writes:
We got the license!
Praise The Lord! We can take children in.
Sunbeam received final permission to run the center. It’s a BIG day for us!!!
For those who don’t know, Sunbeam is a day center for children with disabilities we are opening in Northeast Estonia. The Jõhvi city government gave us the building (for free) in March of 2012. Since then we’ve engaged in extensive renovations of the building, hired staff, written the program and seen a great team formed. Special thanks to program director Ursula Randlaine and board members Artur Põld and Andres Toome.
Though we just got the license, the staff have been meeting with parents and children for a while. The building has passed inspection and the program is approved. It’s a good day. You can see some recent pictures here.
A happy Andres and Ursula
