Here’s a good example of how people can work together to fulfill God’s will:
For the past several months we’ve been working to get some tools for Yura Belonozhkin. In this case, he needed a good computer (he’s starting to edit video for a new website), a GPS and some radios to be used on his men’s retreats. Stoneworks and several donors all pitched in to make this happen. The items were purchased in the USA (saves money), carried over to St. Petersburg on a commercial flight and then sent by train up to the Arctic.
To me, this shows how each person can play a very definite role in helping Yura do the work that God has called him to do. MANY pray. Some provide funds, some procure based on their expertise and some are ‘mules’. It is so important that we all submit to Christ as the Head and then follow His direction. We’ll each play our part, and the results will be grand.
Here’s a note Yura sent to the donors (some are anonymous):
Yesterday I received the computer with the cases and adapters, and the other gear: a Garmin hiking GPS unit, 4 Midland radios, 2 external hard drives.
I don’t know exactly who donated to buy all this gear, but I want to express my deepest appreciation to everybody who did that, and also to those who have been praying for me, my family and our ministry. This new gear will make our life and ministry easier!
The computer is a great tool in our new project – a site for the men’s ministry. With my old computer it was very difficult and stressful. Now it’s fun! The radios and GPS unit are necessary in our trips and camps. Thank you! May God bless you!
