Teen Mania sent a team to run a camp; they arrived a few days ago. Everything is going well, though the mosquitoes have been a sight to behold (and slap).

The team has been helping open up Camp Elama after the winter’s hibernation: moving rocks, setting up tents, cutting grass, cleaning all the dishes, cleaning the cabins, etc. It’s a great team. The Russian campers arrived yesterday, so the camp proper started last night. Above is a picture of the team leader, Timon, leading the first meeting (with Olga Cantrell interpreting).

In addition to the team, Jon and Denise Riley and their three children are with us from Austin, Texas, helping in a variety of ways. Jon even helped build some new tables and benches. Here are some other pictures of the first few days —
