These are some good people: the leadership team of Sunbeam. Artur Põld and Andres Toome are board members and Ursula Randlaine is the program director. I’m honored to be a part of this team.
Sunbeam continues to bring good news. More children are in the program and seeing improvement, and the staff is doing very well. We also have two interns from the USA serving. The building is cozy and homey and we’re just about to finish the guest apartment, though we need a bit more money to finish out the ceiling and floor. (I’ll post pictures of the guest flat in a separate update.)
Artur suggested a great idea today: to start a Christian kindergarten in one wing of the building. While there are quite a few things to do before that could become a reality, it looks like we’ll be moving in that direction. Onward!
