Dear friends !
Cheerful joy has reigned in our house for these past few weeks. We decorated the rooms for Christmas – in happy expectation.
The children of the Estonian high school in Jõhvi brought to us a wonderful festive mood on December 13.
Good memories include beautiful Christmas songs and especially playing the violin; it was a sweet and friendly time together.
We spent the morning warm and cordial! The children decorated gingerbread cookies, drank tea with sweet treats, and then played and had fun.
We are very grateful to our new friends . We believe that such an enjoyable gatherings will be more frequent.
On Monday, December 16 we celebrated Christmas visiting the farm of our staff member Luyve, with parents and children.
It is a special home and was a lovely day. We shared many things, and in my heart there was a magical Christmas mood.
Everyone liked the friendly horse that awaited the arrival of children at the gate. Everyone wanted to feed and pet her, some even dared to sit for a little riding.
Then we chose a small Christmas tree in the grove, which we together decorated and then warmed up by the cozy stove.
We were happy to sing Christmas songs, eat cookies, chocolates, gingerbread and just enjoyed many pleasant moments.
To everyone’s surprise, a Christmas angel left us a bag full of gifts. Joy and excitement were experienced by children and adults alike.
Shine in the eyes of children, warmth from the oven, the aroma of spicy cookies, a Christmas tree made with our own hands, the joy of gifts . . . it is a Christmas miracle !
Dear friends, our Päikesekiir (Sunbeam) family sends sincere wishes for a wonderful Christmas and a memorable New Year!
