We are in Texas, enjoying with our hosting family in Dallas area.
In previous weeks and months we had great opportunity to attend different seminars about leadership and mentorship. Marijana is meeting with a lady from Southwestern Baptist Seminar in Forth Worth regarding mentoring through Bible counseling for ladies in groups and individually.
I, Vladimir, will go later for Pastoral counseling which will be lectured by experienced professor who is also doing mission work in Latin America.
We have great material in books and audio material that we can read and listen every day and make notes for future applications in Montenegro regarding structure of church leadership.
Our first Thanksgiving day in the States was a good cultural experience with people from church and their relatives. For the fist time in my life I could see whole turkey immersed in big pot full of oil.
We have privilege to be on the sending end of Operation Christmas Child in Forth Worth. This is the first year as they opened processing center in this area. They are processing about 20 000 shoe boxes every day that are going to Latin America and Africa. I also had opportunity to talk about distribution in Montenegro.
Just yesterday we got few inches of snow, so today was day off for many business and schools. We didn’t expect to see snow in TX but it reminded us of Podgorica.
Our days are running really quickly. Even we got a visa extension, we know that March will come fast, so we are trying to redeem our time in the most wise ways possible.
Thank you for your prayers and support. Your prayers will be very much needed for near future distribution of shoe boxes in Montenegro, where the church is preparing Christmas program. This will be their first program without us and we pray that God would surprise them through this event and bring joy and blessing like never before.
In His love,
Vladimir
