That was the first event for men in Northern Finland for many years. It was initiated and organized by the Pentecostal Church of Rovaniemi, YWAM Rovaniemi and Lutheran Church of Rovaniemi. I was invited as one of the speakers.
All the meetings were held in Lutheran Church facilities – conference hall
in the afternoon and camping in the evening. There were also teachers from Helsinki and Oslo.
I took a team of 16 men from Russia there. It was the first experience in organizing an event like that for the Finnish folks, and our team came mostly to encourage and serve, but not to be served.
I’m encouraged this meeting happened. It is a start for continuous work. I believe God will keep stirring our hearts to reach to his goals and to fulfill his call in our lives.
