WELCOMING A GRADUATE IN OUR HOME

Our house is always open  for many.  Some young adults come to our home for a dinner and for mentoring. Various reasons motivate them to visit us. Some have a feeling of loneliness. Someone needs advice and help someone because of the friendly relations to talk. They want to be loved and to be encouraged.

In private conversation with orphans we ask some questions, which lead to spiritual theme. For example, “what would you ask from God if you met Him face to face?” Many respond: “I would like my family live together in harmony.” In other words, many are looking for a family relationship filled with love, peace and acceptance. They understand that the situation of orphanhood is not a normal fact. So for us dinner with orphans is an opportunity to share God’s love and encourage them. Another question I often ask – what is the church? The answers are different, for example, place with the icons and priests, this place is for old men, young people seldom go there.

AFTER CHURCH SERVICE

We are so happy for a young graduate named Taimura. Two weeks ago was his first time on a Church Worship. We’ve known Taimura for 7 years. He is now 17 years old. He had never been in Church. We invited him to Sunday service and he was touched. Taimura said he never thought that worship to God could be understandable. After the service we asked him to do individual Bible study with us and he readily agreed. Now Taimura has his own Bible and we are having Bible study every week. Of course the devil will put up obstacles, but we hope for God’s power. We sincerely wish that this young man will accept Christ and will be salt for other orphans.
