Stoneworks International sponsors teams of Americans who prepare for ministry and then travel overseas, typically to a camp or orphanages. Teams range in size from a few to over a dozen members.
Stoneworks provides document support, team training, travel information, and on-site support. Stoneworks also helps teams acquire literature, such as Christian books and Bibles. Follow-up work with new believers or those simply interested in learning more about Christ takes place through Stoneworks’ staff.
Teams seek to establish relationships with those whom they visit, usually children. This takes place through such means as conversations (using interpreters), sports, games, performances and story telling. Within these relationships, as it seems appropriate, the gospel is shared. The emphasis is on sharing a living Lord and building relationships.
